Catalan Professionals in Japan Event

Esteve&Partners hosted yesterday, November 5th, the semi-annual gathering of Catalan Professionals in Japan, which had been discontinued during the Covid pandemic and restarted only now.

We were joined by professionals from very diverse sectors, such as atomic energy, publicity, software development, consulting, F&B importers, online retail and others.

Beyond the networking opportunity, the group discussed about the impact of elections in our professional areas. It is a topic of actuality given that

• Catalan elections took place last May, but a coalition government could only be formed beginning of August

• Japanese legislative elections on October 27th provided an unexpected result and a new political landscape

• Presidential elections in the US were taking place as we talked

The format was a light dinner (tapas) with Catalan specialities at Fonda Sant Jordi in Ebisu, Tokyo (https://g.co/kgs/A1z8Do4).
